がんの浸潤・転移に関する研究

私たちは、がんの浸潤・転移の分子機構に関し、分子細胞生物学的手法などで研究を行っています。血管やリンパ管の可視化を行いつつ、がん細胞の転移機構の解析を行い、またがんの浸潤・転移に関するタンパク質であるTGF-βの作用の新たな役割を明らかにし、これまでの成果を発展させ、創薬までを目指しています。


We conduct research on the molecular mechanisms of cancer invasion and metastasis using molecular and cellular biological approaches. While visualizing blood vessels and lymphatic vessels, we analyze the mechanisms of cancer cell metastasis. We also elucidate novel roles for TGF-β, a protein involved in cancer invasion and metastasis, building on our previous findings with the ultimate goal of drug discovery.
